Curs de cultură şi civilizaţie engleză

Cursul de cultură şi civilizaţie engleză este o alternativă extraordinară de petrecere a timpului liber pentru copiii şi tinerii cu vârste între 5 şi 19 ani care vor să-şi însuşeasca limbajul necesar unei comunicări orale eficiente într-o limbă straină. Cercul este foarte popular în rândul elevilor datorită metodelor interactive de predare si învăţare precum şi atmosferei care este relaxată, creativă şi originală.

Conceput ca o activitate complementară celei din unităţile şcolare, cursul are ca obiectiv fundamental dezvoltarea şi consolidarea competenţelor de comunicare în limba engleză, dezvoltarea capacitaţii de exprimare în scris precum şi stăpânirea unor reguli fundamentale de gramatică. In acest scop se folosesc softuri educaţionale şi tehnici moderne de predare.

Astfel, preşcolarii învaţă limba engleză prin imagini şi jocuri in timp ce elevii mai mari îşi îmbogăţesc vocabularul şi structurile lingvistice de bază facând exerciţii interactive de gramatică. Pornind de la ascultarea unor poveşti, se realizează activităţi variate pentru fixarea vocabularului, jocuri de rol, mici scenete, improvizaţii şi cântecele care au ca scop stimularea imaginaţiei şi dorinţa de învăṭare a unei limbi străine de larga circulaţie. Elevii de liceu propun şi dezvoltă teme de comunicare sau dezbateri, în timp ce grupa de performanţă a fost atrasă de mirajul scenei, optând pentru teatru în limba engleză. Beneficiile teatrului în limba engleză sunt evidente: interacţiune în limba engleză, asimilarea pronunţiei în context, îmbogaṭirea vocabularului şi încrederea în sine.

Copiii de la grupele de avansaţi sau performanţă pot să ia parte la compeţii regionale sau naṭionale, talentul lor fiind recompensat prin premii sau tabere.

Cursurile se grupează pe nivelele lingvistice: începători, avansaţi, grupă de performanţă, adresându-se tuturor categoriilor de vârstă ale copiilor: preşcolari, elevi din ciclul primar si gimnazial, liceeni.

Cursurile Cercului de cultură şi civilizaţie engleză sunt gratuite, Clubul Copiilor Sector 6 fiind subordonat Inspectoratului Scolar al Municipiului Bucuresti

Copii de la Clubul Copiilor 6 au participat la Concursul de videoclipuri „Toate ființele umane se nasc libere și egale în demnitate și drepturi” – concurs ce a fost lansat pe 11 decembrie 2017, de Ziua Drepturilor Omului.

Concursul s-a desfășurat în parteneriat cu Primăria Municipiului București, care a oferit cadouri finaliștilor. Consilierul pentru Presă și Cultură al Ambasadei SUA, Ron Hawkins, i-a felicitat pe toți participanții și i-a încurajat să participe și în viitor la astfel de competiții.

Prin proiectul „5 Teatre 5 Licee”, Clubul Copiilor, impreuna cu CN Mihai Eminescu a colaborat in perioada octombrie- decembrie 2017 cu TNB iar mentorul lor a fost vestitul actor Marius Bodochi!

Liceeni din 5 licee au jucat pe scena TNB, în cadrul Galei 5 licee – 5 teatre. La deschidere a vorbit actorul Ion Caramitru. Marţi, 5 decembrie 2017, cinci trupe de teatru din alte cinci licee din capitală şi-au prezentat piesele pregătite pe parcursul proiectului început în luna octombrie. CN Mihai Eminescu in colaborare cu Clubul Copiilor 6 prof Sinca Mariana si prof Popa Celesta au castigat 3 premii: premiul pt cea mai originala piesa, premiul pt cea mai populara piesa votata de public si premiul pentru cel mai bun actor masculin. Felicitari elevilor actori!!!!!!

Hi everyone! My name is Andreea Petrache and I’m 15 years old. I want to tell you some things about a wonderful sport, named dance sport. I’ve been doing it since I was 5 years old and I still love every minute spent during practicing classes. It is not certain if dance sport is a sport or an art, as the line between them is very thin. There are 10 dances, 5 ballroom (Waltz, Tango, Vienese Waltz, Slow-Fox and Quickstep) and 5 latin (Samba, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso-Doble and Jive). Whether if you do only ballroom dances, or Latin dances or both, one thing is for sure: You need to interpretate, not to execute. What does this mean? That every dance has a story and every movement has a meaning. It is amazing how many significance an arm movement can have, or a body movement. You can tell,with just a movement, „go away”, or, contrary, „come closer”. The face has also an important role in this whole body language. You can express everything: love, hate, sadness, melancholy.Of course, you have to adapt your emotions to every dance, therefor to every story. My favorite dance is Rumba, because it is a very emotional dance and you have a lot to show, a lot of stories to tell while dancing it.

But enough with all this technique, because I’m sure all of you wonder what can i tell you about those amazing dresses. First of all they are really expensive and there are rules regarding the costumes. For example, you have to be at least 14 to have a dress with rhinestones. The good thing is that after 14 you are allowed to wear what kind of dress you want.

Dancing is not always easy and not many people knows how much you have to work. It is a very expensive sport, so if you don’t have a lot of money you should prepare to work double in order to achieve the results you hope for. Finding a partner can also be difficult, because he or she must be as dedicated as you are, must have the same ambitions as you do.

All in all I can’t imagine my life without dancing and even if i might get hurt sometimes, when I’m on the floor … nothing can compare with that feeling.

A Christmas Present

She was walking all alone down the street covered by snow . It was Christmas Night and the atmosphere was wonderful : the snowflakes were dancing in the air , the voices of the children were singing carols and you could feel that pleasant smell of orange and sponge cake .
The girl seemed to be very sad and thoughtful . Her eyes were red and her cheeks wet by tears . In the street was nobody . everybody was celebrating the Christmas inside , together with their families , near the fire .
The girl kept going till she got in the forest near the village . She felt tired , knelt between two old trees and started to cry . After a while , the girl heard steps behind her and turned around very frightened . But all her fear just vanished when she saw Santa Claus smiling at her . She ran straight into his open arms and begged Santa Claus to take her with him because she had nowhere to go . Her parents had driven her away . When the girl stopped talking the silence covered the old forest . They seemed to hear even the snowflakes spreading on the ground and trees .
After long moments of silence , Santa Claus took the girl`s hand and guided her to his sledge . When the girl saw the reindeers and the presents in Santa`s sledge she get in without even looking behind . Santa Claus took a sit near her and the sledge started to raise up the sky .
Nobody saw the little girl since that Christmas Night , but they weren`t worried about that . It seemed that everyone knew she left the village for a better place .

Crazy Kids (5- 11 grade)

My name is Dana. I’m twelve years old and I’m in the 6th grade. I have light brown hair  and brown eyes. I have a younger sister; her name is Irina and I love her very much. My favourite colour is orange and my favourite sport is volleyball. I like Maths  and I hate French. During the week we have about the same program, only on Saturday and on Sunday I have leisure time .

STUDENTS 2011-2012

 

In 11th to 17th october, this year, I went in Germany for the World chapmionship in  karate. The trip was exhausted, we had to go 1 day by bus. We had to sleep one by one, on chairs, under the chairs or on the floar. Luckly we had to go just one day.

When we arrived, the weather was cold, it was raining a bit and the sky was full with dark clouds. We had to wait one hour till we got our rooms in hotel. After we whent shopping. I bought a lot of presents, especilly chocolate. I helped several people, becouse I speak German well. It’s a cool feeling to speak with people and the other ones not to understand. Then we went in hotel and went to bed early, because we had the big competiton the next day.

The 2nd day in Germany we woke up and went to the  place where we had to compete. It was  huge, with 10 tatami (places where we had to enter to compete). In Romania, there are just 6, on a big competition. I choose my place, where I  left my stufs and I went to change my clouthes. I was very nervouse. After I did some exercises, I heard my name, that meant that now is my turn to do the best I can. Unfortunally, I took the 4th palce, but I wasn’t very sad, I will have another chalenge, kumite (fight) where I can take  a place.

I entered to fight and I beat the first one, but I was beated by the second girl, so I took the 3rd palece.

One thing is sure. When they called the poaple who took places, they called the country to. So, when the organizator spoke to the microfon, the name of Roumania was heard , each time, even 2 times, because there are more than one perosn from a country. I got bored to hear „Roumania 1st place’. The other countries, well, let’s say that they were not so good prepared.  Anyway, it’s very strange to hear your name and it’s  a great feeling to be on podium.

It was a great experienxce,  but I have to learn more, to be a world’s champion.
